Environmental ProfessionalAs an environmental professional, provides professional environmental technical expertise and program support to the office of the Assistant Secretary of the Air Force, Installations, Environment and Logistics (SAF/IE), Headquarters Air Force (HAF) A7C, Environmental Restoration and Quality Program Offices, Major Commands (MAJCOMS), Regional Support Teams (RSTS), Installation Support Teams (ISTS), and installation staff.Provides consultation and advisory services to leadership and customers. Validates and approves environmental program evaluations for mission changes, unit realignments, reports, and correspondence submitted by higher headquarters, MAJCOMS, and installations.Communicates critical issues to SAF/IE, HAF A7C, MAJCOM, RST/IST staff members, serviced installations, and superiors.Provides direction to a team of environmental professionals. As a senior member, the incumbent provides specific direction regarding member assignments, project team direction, work prioritization, and scheduling to execute specific environmental programs.
