Program ManagerOntic is a leading global aerospace OEM trusted by the world's aviation leaders. Ontic's Chatsworth, CA, site specializes in precision engineering, MRO, and new solutions for parts at risk of obsolescence. With over 1,400 employees across four time zones and seven sites, we have more than doubled in size since 2019 and are continuing to grow at pace.Our team is looking for a Program Manager to join them. You will report to the Value Stream Lead and will have an Onsite work structure in Chatsworth, CA.To be considered for this role, you should bring:Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field3+ years of program/project management experience in engineering, manufacturing, or aerospace environmentsProven ability to manage tight schedules, prioritize competing demands, and consistently deliver on-time resultsExperience working cross-functionally and holding teams accountable to commitments and deadlinesStrong supply chain and sourcing background preferred, with experience expediting parts, managing vendors, and resolving shortagesFamiliarity with government contracts, compliance requirements, and quality standards (e.g., source inspection, FAR/DFAR, etc.)Strong communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to drive alignment across internal teams and external customersCustomer-focused mindset with an understanding of financial impact (revenue, margin, and delivery performance)Demonstrated problem-solving mindset, with the ability to think creatively and operate in ambiguous situationsProficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPointPMP certification is a plusMBA is a plusAs a Program Manager, you will:Own and manage assigned product lines, ensuring on-time delivery, quality, and financial performance (P&L)Drive execution across 10–15 cross-functional stakeholders, including engineering, supply chain, quality, and operationsActively manage and enforce schedules, identifying risks early and driving mitigation plans to closureLead daily/weekly execution rhythms (escalation calls, recovery plans, status updates) to maintain momentumPartner closely with supply chain to expedite material, resolve shortages, and ensure continuity of supplyCoordinate with engineering teams and provide hands-on guidance to move projects forward ("handholding" where needed to unblock execution)Interface with customers and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication, expectation management, and high customer satisfactionSupport and manage activities related to government programs, including compliance with contractual and quality requirementsDrive financial performance by managing revenue, margin, and cost impacts across the product lineIdentify and implement process improvements to enhance delivery, efficiency, and program healthLead successful project closure and transition to sustaining functionsOur Benefits:Comprehensive medical insuranceCompetitive PTO, holiday pay, and sick leaveCompany 401K plan with up to 4% matched contributionAnnual bonus program (varies by level and discretionary based on company and individual performance)Flexible working arrangementsPaid volunteering opportunitiesAccess to mental health champions across our sitesCommitment to developmentEmployee referral program.Ontic Engineering and Manufacturing Inc.
