Bringing Families Home Program ManagerUpward Bound House (UBH) is dedicated to ending the circle of intergenerational family homelessness. We seek employees who are passionate about serving and making a difference in the lives of others.The BFH Program Manager provides leadership and oversight for the Bringing Families Home program, supporting families experiencing homelessness or housing instability who are involved in child welfare systems. The Program Manager supervises staff, oversees program operations, ensures contract compliance, and collaborates with DCFS, housing providers, and community partners to improve outcomes for families.Essential FunctionsOversee daily operations of the BFH programEnsure compliance with contract requirements and agency standardsMonitor program performance, outcomes, and service qualityDevelop and improve program workflows and processesSupervise case management and support staffProvide coaching, training, and performance feedbackLead weekly supervision and case conferencing meetingsSupport staff with complex or high-acuity casesOversee housing navigation and rapid re-housing servicesEnsure timely and effective housing placement and stabilizationSupport resolution of barriers impacting housing stabilityMonitor family progress and service plansCollaborate with DCFS and other system partnersParticipate in multidisciplinary case conferencesEnsure services align with family reunification and stabilization goalsMaintain strong relationships with housing and community partnersEnsure accurate and timely HMIS documentationMonitor data entry compliance and reporting deadlinesTrack program outcomes and contract performance metricsSupport audits and quality assurance processesIdentify service gaps and implement improvementsStrengthen referral systems and housing pathwaysUse data to guide program decisions and outcomesQualificationsEducation & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Social Work, Human Services, Public Health, Psychology, or related field requiredMaster's degree preferred3–5 years of experience in housing, case management, or child welfare programs2+ years of supervisory or leadership experience preferredKnowledge & SkillsKnowledge of rapid re-housing modelsUnderstanding of child welfare systems and family stabilization servicesStrong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skillsExperience with HMIS or similar data systemsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentStrong documentation and compliance oversight skillsRequirementsValid California Driver's License and reliable transportationAbility to travel throughout Los Angeles CountyBackground clearance and TB test requiredCPR/First Aid certification preferred or required upon hireCore CompetenciesLeadership & Team DevelopmentHousing Stability & Case CoordinationProgram Compliance & Quality AssuranceChild Welfare System CollaborationData-Driven Decision MakingCrisis ManagementCommunication & Relationship BuildingEquity & Cultural ResponsivenessBenefitsCompetitive salary based on experience and qualifications.Health, dental, and vision insurance options.Retirement savings plan.Paid time off and holidays.Opportunities for professional development and growth within the organization.Physical Demands, Environmental Conditions, EquipmentThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
