At Chartis Federal, our mission is clear: keeping heroes safe and connected—on the battlefield, on the border, and in our backyards.This position is contingent upon award.Position OverviewWe are seeking a Program Manager to serve as the senior leader responsible for overall contract execution, ensuring successful delivery of Tactical Communications (TACCOM) Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Engineering Support Services. This position provides strategic leadership, manages cost, schedule, quality, and risk, and serves as the primary interface with the Government.Duties and ResponsibilitiesOversee the overall execution of TACCOM engineering, modernization, operations, and maintenance projects and ensure coordinated delivery across multiple concurrent effortsServe as the primary contractor point of contact for the customer regarding system planning, design, execution, services, priorities, status, and issue resolutionPlan, schedule, staff, and coordinate large-scale projects supporting secure, encrypted, interoperable P25 tactical communications systemsIntegrate O&M work with other TACCOM initiatives through resource plans, schedules, financial reporting, project documentation, purchasing, and travel coordinationDevelop and maintain integrated project schedules in Microsoft Project and provide Government visibility through ICE-approved systems and SharePointManage resource allocation, budgets, performance measures, quality assurance, requirements, risks, issues, and mitigation actionsReport cost, schedule, technical performance, accomplishments, planned work, concerns, and recommendations to Government leadershipDirect staffing and workload execution; manage work hours, travel, other direct costs, and subcontractor and vendor performance within approved requirementsMaintain project management plans, standard operating procedures, status reports, risk matrices, and other Government-directed documentationEnsure services follow applicable ISO 9001, PMI, ITIL, DHS SELC, security, and accessibility requirementsCoordinate nationwide field activities and lead recurring progress meetings, executive briefings, technical reviews, and Government-requested program reviewsRequirementsDemonstrated experience successfully deploying P25 digital, encrypted, interoperable tactical communications systems in support of federal law enforcementSpecific knowledge of tactical communications implementation and a proven ability to plan, schedule, staff, and coordinate large-scale technical programs of comparable size and complexityStrong working knowledge of DHS IT policy environments, federal contracting, program financial management, integrated scheduling, quality management, and risk managementExperience managing multidisciplinary engineering, O&M, logistics, subcontractor, vendor, and field-support activitiesMinimum 10 years of program or project management experienceBachelor's degree or equivalent experienceMust be able to obtain and maintain the suitability determination required for work on ICE systems and facilitiesU.S. citizenship requiredWhy Join Chartis Federal?We offer a competitive compensation and benefits package, including:Comprehensive health insurance (medical, dental, vision)Retirement plans with company contributionsProfessional development opportunities and career growth supportA dynamic and collaborative work environment where your contributions are valuedAt Chartis Federal, we believe in fostering a culture of excellence, integrity, and innovation while supporting critical national security missions.
