It supports a competitive grant application WIL is preparing; no award has been made, and there is no guaranteed work or funding. If an award proceeds and the staffing model calls for it, WIL may offer a project-based contract or consulting engagement. We will ask before naming you or including your resume in any proposal.
What youll do
Lead design of agriculture and food-systems education and workforce training activities
Build experiential learning, internship, and career-pathway components
Partner with colleges, extension, producers, and agribusiness employers
Plan learner recruitment, including students from underrepresented and rural communities
Define and track learning and workforce outcomes
Contribute qualifications and past-performance narrative to WIL proposals when you authorize naming

Requirements
Required
Experience leading agricultural, food-systems, or extension education or training programs
Partnerships with producers, agribusiness, or land-grant institutions
Curriculum or experiential-learning program design
Program evaluation or outcomes-reporting experience
Comfortable as a project-based contract collaborator; remote US
Nice to have
Prior federal agricultural education or workforce grant experience
Cooperative Extension background
Rural community engagement experience
