Karman Space & Defense brings to bear unparalleled production capabilities, unmatched engineering expertise, and unflinching analysis to render the impossible, possible.Compensation and benefits include medical, dental, vision, company paid life insurance, 401(k) retirement savings plan, paid time off (PTO), paid holidays, and tuition reimbursement.Essential duties and responsibilities include developing project plans, collaborating with design teams, coordinating with various teams and departments, identifying potential risks, implementing quality control processes, tracking project progress, addressing technical or logistical issues, facilitating communication, maintaining accurate project documentation, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.Knowledge and skills required include a strong foundation in systems, mechanical, electrical, or software engineering, proficiency in relevant engineering tools, project planning and resource management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, analytical and problem-solving abilities, strong leadership skills, working knowledge of quality, safety, and compliance standards, adaptability, and awareness of aerospace manufacturing practices.Education and experience required include a bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related technical field, 3–5 years of progressive engineering experience in project or program management, experience leading cross-functional engineering projects, and familiarity with product development, lifecycles, configuration management, and industry compliance standards.Physical requirements include prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer, and the ability to lift 15 pounds at times.Work environment includes a professional office environment and occasionally on the shop floor.ITAR requirements include being a U.S. citizen or national, U.S.
lawful permanent resident, refugee under 8 U.S.C. § 1157, or asylee under 8 U.S.C. § 1158, or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S.
