Job Description
Qualifications:
* High school diploma or GED required.
* Bachelor's degree (Education or related field) preferred, Associate of Arts degree or 60 semester hours of college credit required.
* Two years program development experience in the area of youth and family services preferred.
* One year experience in working with school aged children preferred.
* Ability to work with diverse populations.
* Strong computer skills.
* Strong organizational, written and oral communication skills.
* Demonstrated commitment to work with community service programs and partners.
Duties:
* Schedule and supervise after school and summer academic and enrichment activities.
* Coordinate the use of building facilities when participants are on premises.
* Act as a liaison between classroom teachers and after school staff so that there is a means of communication that will address logistical, student disciplinary, or academic concerns.
* Implement a tracking system to collect academic records on all students enrolled in the program.
* Assist in any required data collection and analyses for program evaluation.
* Develop a calendar for after school and summer programs.
* Submit program plans and preliminary budget/s for the LKSD grant writer.
* Offer training and development for program staff.
* Work with the school's steering committee, ASB, AOTE or other advising bodies on matters concerning the program.
* Facilitate travel arrangements for staff to attend off-site in-services.
* Order materials supplies and inventory for the program as outlines in the approved budget.
* Other duties as assigned within grant parameters.
Position Type: Part-Time
Salary: $28.23 to $35.18 Per Hour
Job Requirements
* At least 2 year(s) of relevant experience preferred.
* Associate degree preferred.
* Citizenship, residency or work visa required
