The Health Center Association of Nebraska (HCAN) is actively recruiting a Program Implementation Specialist to join our team in Omaha, Nebraska, where you will be responsible for facilitating, promoting, and enabling Nebraska's Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) and FQHC Look-Alikes to strengthen health center performance, implement innovative programs, and optimize health center resources.Why Join Us?Mission-Driven Work – Be part of an organization that prioritizes accessible, affordable healthcare for allWork-Life Balance – Enjoy a Monday-Friday hybrid schedule, competitive salary range of $78k - $82k (based on experience), comprehensive benefit package, and generous PTOSupportive Team – Work in a highly collaborative, team-focused office with professionals dedicated to making an impact.Your Role:Under the leadership of the Director of Programs, the Program Implementation Specialist will:Design, facilitate, and evaluate collaborative learning opportunities that foster knowledge sharing, peer connection, and best practice adoptionLeverage opportunities to enable health centers to level up by developing and implementing new programs, workshops, and other supportCoach and support health center staff as they apply new knowledge, implement improvements, and progress through learning programsLead initiatives that introduce transformative healthcare ideas and practices to the health centersManage assigned grant program initiatives, including planning, implementation, reporting, monitoring deliverables, and overseeing consultants or contractorsParticipate in the preparation of grant applications or other funding proposals, as needed for additional funding, to support this position and other integrated health initiativesThis is not a full list of responsibilities; a full job description will be provided to those selected to interviewWhat We Are Looking For:Master's Degree in Health Administration, Public Health, or other related fieldExperience in program planning, project implementation, process improvement, coaching, or facilitation.Demonstrated ability to take assigned work from ideation through execution.Experience managing multiple programs simultaneously, including overseeing consultants, project deadlines, and varying program responsibilities.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage both frontline clinicians and senior leadershipHighly organized, detail-oriented, and execution-driven, with strong follow-through and accountability.Ability to analyze information, identify opportunities for improvement, and translate ideas into actionable plans.Self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable working independently while collaborating across teamsHighly Valued (Not Required) ExperienceExperience in project implementationExperience in or knowledge of Federally Qualified Health CentersExperience in vetting vendorsClinical background / experienceJoin Our Team and Make a Difference?
