Program Finance AnalystStratolaunch is a technology accelerator that engineers operationally realistic testing at Mach 5+. Our air-launched, Talon testbeds are reusable, cost-effective platforms that enable routine access to the hypersonic environment. Together with our customers, we drive innovations that are imperative to advancing national security.Reporting to the Program Control/Finance Manager, this is a key role providing financial oversight, analysis, and reporting of variance types of programs. In close collaboration with the program team, this role will influence good decision making for the program, company, and customer.

Responsibilities will include establishing cost baselines, EAC development, analysis of contract task orders, labor analysis, subcontract finances, purchase requests, EBITDA and revenue forecasting. Knowledge of Earned Value Management is a plus and will help provide performance information to the program and management team. Regular coordination with Finance, Contracts, Project Management, and other teams to develop and present program financial reporting.

The role prepares ad hoc reports and analyses as required.Essential ResponsibilitiesContribute to program cost forecast and budget managementKeep the program team current regarding its upcoming activities, deadlines, and milestonesPerform schedule-based risk analysis on the company's projectsHelp evaluate risks and risk mitigation plans to determine if the risks are appropriate and risk mitigations are adequateProduce and review ad-hoc project-level projections, graphs, and reports for both internal/external stakeholders.Perform analysis and prepare reports to ensure contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters and government cost control guidelines.Sets up cost control system, monitors and controls costs and schedules on contracts requiring validated cost schedule control system.Support audits and reviews requests from programs, customers, and company management, fact-finding and negotiation support.Ensures adequate funding availability by maintaining accurate records of expenditures, directing preparation of expenditure projections, and submitting timely requests for additional funding to the government.Support the preparation and coordination of financial forecasting and reporting, Annual Operating Plan and Resource PlanStreamline data collection, modeling, and management practices.Contribute Financial information to the monthly program reviewSupport the preparation of business proposals to the US Government and industrySupport compliance with contractual requirements and internal procedures.Support preparation invoices, familiarity with CPFF, T&M and FFP contracts is preferredUnderstanding of EVMS and government CPR reporting a plusQualificationsBachelor's Degree and 2 years of experience or equivalent experienceExperience in Earned Value Management System (EVMS) a plusKnowledge of program management or operational workflowAbility to support program management, integration, and control strategiesAbility to work cross-functionally with technical and functional departmentsAbility to support decision-making and conflict resolutionAbility to work and communicate with a diverse groupFamiliarity with Costpoint, COBRA, or other established EVM systemsExcellent interpersonal communication skillsExperience in Business Consulting, Engineering, or FinanceExperience in government contractingExperience in Data Analytics and Visualization (Kronos, Power BI, Tableau, or similar)Experience with FAR/DFAR Cost Account Standards (CAS)Expertise in Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook)Ability to obtain Secret clearanceBenefits and our locationLVL I $66,500-$87,000LVL II $83,100-$109,000This position is full-time onsite in Mojave, CA or remote (must maintain Pacific Time Zone work schedule)Base salary and leveling are established on a case-by-case basis.
