Job Description
This role is a senior leader responsible for end‑to‑end SAP S/4HANA and IBM Maximo transformation and optimization in an aerospace and defense aftermarket environment, focusing on MRO/CRO operations, asset and spare‑parts management, and KPI‑driven continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Lead the business and functional transformation vision for SAP S/4HANA MRO/CRO capabilities integrated with Maximo in an A&D Aftermarket setting.
- Define the target operating model for maintenance, repair, component tracking, repair turnaround optimization, and service‑part enabled maintenance support.
- Partner with business leadership to improve operational efficiency, asset performance, repair throughput, and aftermarket service delivery.
- Provide end‑to‑end functional leadership for the design of SAP S/4HANA MRO/CRO processes integrated with Maximo‑based maintenance and asset management workflows.
- Define business processes covering: Maintenance planning and execution, depot and component repair lifecycle, serialized asset and component traceability, repairable inventory flows, work order integration, failure / inspection / service history synchronization.
- Govern integration design between SAP and Maximo to ensure process consistency, clean ownership, and scalable supportability.
- Lead large, cross‑functional global teams across operations, supply chain, maintenance, IT, and integration workstreams.
- Drive design workshops, fit‑gap analysis, solution governance, risk resolution, and milestone adherence.
- Ensure delivery predictability, quality, and business readiness across the transformation lifecycle.
- Establish strong delivery controls, functional quality gates, and business sign‑off mechanisms.
- Act as a trusted advisor to business and technology leadership on aftermarket service transformation, MRO/CRO modernization, and integrated enterprise asset management strategy.
- Facilitate executive design reviews, governance boards, and steering committee discussions.
- Translate business priorities into practical, scalable SAP‑Maximo‑enabled operating capabilities.
- Define and track transformation outcomes tied to: faster repair turnaround, improved asset uptime / availability, reduced repair backlog, better spare parts support, improved planning and maintenance execution visibility, reduced operational inefficiencies and system fragmentation.
- Support KPI dashboards and executive reporting for value realization tracking.
- Drive modernization of legacy maintenance and repair processes into an integrated digital platform architecture.
- Identify opportunities for automation, workflow standardization, intelligent maintenance planning, and data‑driven decision support.
- Champion process harmonization across business functions, sites, and repair networks.
Qualifications
- Deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA with strong functional leadership across MRO/CRO business processes in an A&D Aftermarket environment.
- Proven experience in Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul (MRO) and Component Repair Operations (CRO) with clear understanding of aerospace aftermarket service models.
- Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Plant Maintenance / Enterprise Asset Management, service management, spare parts planning, repair logistics, and maintenance execution.
- Hands‑on experience integrating SAP S/4HANA with IBM Maximo, including process harmonization, asset/master data alignment, work order integration, maintenance history synchronization, and interface governance.
- Deep understanding of A&D aftermarket processes, including depot repair operations, serialized component tracking, rotables and repairables management, warranty and service history visibility, spare parts fulfillment and replenishment.
- Expertise in designing business processes across work order management, asset lifecycle management, maintenance planning and scheduling, repair execution and turnaround tracking, inventory and spare parts integration.
- Strong integration knowledge across SAP S/4HANA PM / MM / SD / EWM, Maximo asset and maintenance processes, and middleware / interface orchestration frameworks.
- Experience leading large‑scale SAP transformation programs involving multiple business units, delivery teams, and external application ecosystems.
- Strong familiarity with regulated A&D operating models, including traceability, compliance, quality controls, and export control considerations.
- Ability to define and drive KPI‑based improvements in turnaround time, asset availability, maintenance productivity, spare parts fill rate, backlog reduction, and inventory optimization.
- Strong communication and executive stakeholder management skills with demonstrated ability to engage business, IT, operations, and leadership teams.
- Strong executive leadership and enterprise transformation mindset; proven ability to lead large multi‑disciplinary and geographically distributed teams; excellent stakeholder management, facilitation, negotiation, and governance skills; strong decision‑making and issue‑resolution capability in complex delivery environments; ability to align business and IT teams under a common transformation vision; experience mentoring functional leaders and building high‑performing consulting teams.

Salary
Base Salary Range: $180,000 to $250,000 Per Annum
