Program Director – Adolescent Residential Treatment (Behavioral Health)

Wings Adolescent Recovery Services is seeking a passionate and experienced Program Director to lead our adolescent residential treatment program serving youth ages 13–18 with co-occurring substance use and mental health disorders.

Our multidisciplinary team includes licensed therapists, addiction counselors, nurses, social workers, case managers, residential staff, fitness and nutrition professionals, and other dedicated specialists—all working together to provide exceptional care for the youth we serve.
What You'll Do
As Program Director, you will:
- Provide leadership and oversight for the daily operations of the residential treatment program.
- Supervise, mentor, and support clinical and program staff.
- Ensure compliance with Minnesota Rule 2960 and other applicable licensing standards.
- Maintain and improve program policies, procedures, and quality initiatives.
- Assist with hiring, onboarding, orientation, and staff training.
- Monitor employee performance through coaching, feedback, and professional development.
- Collaborate with organizational leadership to identify needs, solve problems, and strengthen programming.
- Provide therapeutic services when needed to support program operations.
- Participate in an on-call rotation to support the clinical team.
- Foster a positive, collaborative culture focused on providing exceptional care to adolescents and their families.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor\'s degree in a behavioral science field.
- Licensed through the Minnesota Board of Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Behavioral Health and Therapy.
- Minimum of three years of experience providing counseling or therapy to individuals with substance use and/or mental health disorders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master\'s degree in a behavioral science field.
- Experience working with adolescents.
- Previous leadership or management experience.
- Experience in residential treatment or behavioral healthcare.
