Program DirectorThe Program Director is responsible for the day-to-day management of the program in accordance with regulatory compliance, contractual requirements, and organizational standards. This individual is responsible for the management of our new Poplar location in the Bronx, NY.QualificationsMaster's Degree in Social Work from an accredited college/universityNYS licensure (LCSW or LMSW) strongly preferredMinimum of four years' human services experience, with at least two years of managerial and supervisory experience, and demonstrated professional progression in supervision and program managementExperience in a shelter environment overseeing programs for single adults/individuals is requiredAbility to think and act calmly in emergency situationsAbility to work with a teamAttention to detail and problem-solving skillsStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage tasks efficientlyExcellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize assignmentsExcellent analytical, evaluative, and human service management skillsExcellent written and oral communication, organizational, supervisory, and leadership skillsMust have incredible initiative, the ability to work well under pressure, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team to complete complex projects in a fast-paced environmentMust be adept and comfortable with crisis managementAbility to work effectively with a wide range of community-based providersKnowledge of community health services, social service support agencies, and networksFamiliarity with DHS and OTDA social service documentation policies and proceduresHigh level of computer proficiency in Word, Excel, and the ability to learn new technologies and databasesPrimary ResponsibilitiesMonitor the program's effectiveness to ensure that the program is achieving goals and targets as defined by DHSManage the program's multi-disciplinary teams and ensure integration of delivery of services to clientsEnsure program staff implement procedures and policies to ensure quality service provisionOperations ManagementCollaborate with management in the development of annual operating budgets, review monthly expense reports, and ensure program expenditures are within budgeted parametersEnsure billing reports are submitted in a timely manner, collaborate with the organization's fiscal department to ensure management responds in a timely manner to billing inquiries and requests for billing correctionsReview and approve purchase requisitions and ensure that all expenditures comply with organizational procurement proceduresFacilitiesCollaborate with the Regional Director of Facilities/Operations in ensuring that the facilities operate in compliance with ECB, DOB, FDNY, etc. regulationsCollaborate with the Regional Director of Facilities/Operations in ensuring that the program meets 95% occupancy rateMonitor unit work orders and complaints, ensure the operations teams respond to work orders and complaints in a timely mannerMetrics & PerformanceMonitor and analyze reports and dashboard to ensure the program meets annual program goals and targets which support the mission and vision of the organizationMonitor DHS performance metrics and collaborate with program managerial and supervisory staff in developing strategies to ensure the program meets DHS performance metricsContinuous Quality Improvement (CQI)Lead the implementation of continuous quality improvement activitiesDevelop systems, processes, and tools which ensure the program meets/exceeds government/funder standardsConduct program audits to ensure compliance with organizational and government/funder standardsCollaborate with organizational leadership in analyzing findings from internal and external audits while establishing measures to improve the delivery of services and deficienciesLead or participate in CQI projects and committeesAdministrativeSubmit quality and timely reports to the organization and other regulatory agencies as mandated to ensure the program complies with reporting requirementsStaff Management & DevelopmentHire, train, coach, and provide support to direct reports;
