- IBD and liver transplant rotations at The Mount Sinai Hospital
- Separate advanced Interventional GI fellowship (one fellow / year)
- Didactic and patient-oriented teaching involves fellows, residents, and medical students
- Excellent new ambulatory training sites and ambulatory endoscopy centers
Responsibilities
- Plan and carry out the educational agenda for the program
- Perform customary administrative responsibilities such as mentoring, trainee evaluation, and annual recruitment of new fellows
- Create innovative educational experiences that enhance skills needed to care for an increasingly diverse population
- Continue clinical practice in gastroenterology
Compensation
- Compensation range from $500,000 to $575,000 (not including bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits)

Requirements
- Medical Degree from an Accredited University
- New York Medical License
- Board Certified in Gastroenterology
- Practiced for at least five years
- Demonstrated interest in and commitment to medical education
- Committed to Mount Sinai and the communities we serve
- Excellent communication, bedside manner, and organizational skills
- A strong work ethic and desire to participate in a team-oriented, performance-driven Health System
- Previous experience as an assistant or full program director is ideal
