POSITION SUMMARY:

The Program Director, implements ADL's education initiatives, enhances volunteer engagement, and fosters partnerships within the field division. This roleworks collaborativelywith team members to ensure the successful delivery of educational programs and resources, supports volunteer leaders, and contributes to the development of strategic partnerships. The Program Directorrequiresstrong communicationskills, a passion for community engagement, and a commitment to ADL's mission.

Responsibilities

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Program Implementation:

  • Assistin the deployment of ADL's educational programs and resources in schools, communities, and organizations.
  • Support the implementation of K-12 programsandfacilitatedantisemitism programs.
  • Deploy ADL programs and resources through partnership networks

VolunteerLeadership andEngagement:

  • Collaborate with theregionalteamsto activate and support volunteer leaders asactivists,advocates,and ambassadors for ADL’s mission.
  • Supportleadership engagement within the division andregionsandfoster a positive and inclusive volunteer culture.
  • Identifyand prioritize opportunities for leaders to contribute to the region/divisioninitiatives and goals.
  • Support GLI and other volunteerengagementinitiatives.

Partnership Support:

  • Support efforts toidentifyand cultivatestrategic partnerships to enhance program reach and impact.
  • Analyzethe divisional Jewish community landscapeand strategically deploy resourcesinsupportofinitiatives for Jewish community engagement and partnerships.
  • Build andmaintainstrong relationships with Jewish community organizations, with a particular emphasis on Federations, foster collaboration, resource sharing, and community cohesion.
  • Network with other advocacy leadership development program organizations andlead on developing partnership opportunities

Program Evaluation and Improvement:

  • Participate in evaluating program effectiveness andimpact.
  • Work with colleagues toidentifyopportunities for continuous improvement.

Team Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with team members to ensure alignment with ADL’s mission and organizational objectives.
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment that encourages professional growth.
  • Support and consult on incidentresponseas needed.
  • May take on future people-management responsibilities—including team leadership and direct supervision—as the function expands.

Resource Management:

  • Support the management of program resources to ensure cost-effective operations.
  • Assistinidentifyingfunding opportunities to support program growth.

Work Experience:

  • The ideal candidatehas several years of experience in education,programsand/or community engagement.
  • Demonstrable leadership experience is a plus.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experiencerequired.

Work Environment:

  • ADL is a hybrid environment; this role will require 3 days in the office.

Compensation:

  • This position has a salary range of$90,000 to $100,000. This salary range is reflective of a position based in (Los Angeles, California). Please note that actual salaries arecommensuratewith experience and reflect the budget for a given position, and since ADL has a location-based compensation structure, there may be a different range for candidates in other locations.For an overview of our total rewards package, please visit
