Program Director, Hospice & Palliative Medicine Fellowship Program

Northwell Health and the Department of Medicine are seeking a Program Director for the Hospice and Palliative Medicine Fellowship Program at North Shore University Hospital/Long Island Jewish Medical Center (NS/LIJ). Responsibilities

• Responsible for the day-to-day management and strategic direction of the fellowship
• Developing and overseeing a comprehensive educational curriculum, both inpatient and outpatient
• Ensuring the program's full compliance with all institutional and regulatory standards
• Instrumental in fostering the next generation of palliative care specialists

Compensation

• Salary: Commensurate with Experience
• Full-time clinical base compensation at Northwell Health ranges from $125,000 to $750,000, which is impacted by various factors, including but not limited to physician specialty, level of experience, quality of care, academic accomplishments, patient experience, and productivity

Requirements

• MD/DO
• Board certified in Hospice and Palliative Medicine
• Minimum of two years' experience in a clinical practice of hospice and palliative medicine
• At least two years of documented educational and/or administrative experience in an ACGME-accredited hospice and palliative medicine program
