- Develop and implement strategies for planning Follow‑On Sustainment Cases and establishing contract vehicles to bridge potential contract gaps.
- Manage day‑to‑day program operations and ensure compliance with program management processes, including Export/Import (EX/IM), Earned Value (EV), and Risk & Opportunity (R&O).
- Oversee the use of disciplined program management tools and processes to ensure adherence to EX/IM, EV, and R&O requirements.
- Collaborate with senior leadership on program status, strategy, and direction.
Requirements
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s and a minimum of 14+ years prior relevant experience, or an Advance Degree in a related field and a minimum of 12+ years’ experience.
- Experience and technical proficiency in the production of complex, large‑scale weapon systems.
- Background in manufacturing, refurbishment, and/or field operations management.
- Ability to produce industry‑competitive cost proposals, including Request for Proposal (RFP) analysis, Basis‑of‑Estimate development, risk and opportunity assessment, price‑to‑win strategy, and full proposal review, approval, and submission under tight deadlines.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
