Treating clients with respect forms the foundation of their culture.Role OverviewThe Program Director is responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing day-to-day tasks associated with completing and delivering multiple client projects. Candidates should have experience in program/project management specific to medical communications within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology environment.Key ResponsibilitiesQuality Control: Reviews and evaluates all project-related deliverables and processes (e.g., editorial, logistics, art, production) at key stages during development to ensure that objectives are achieved and quality control is maintained.Business Maintenance: Responsible for maintenance and renewal of ongoing assigned business.Team Leadership: Leads cross-functional teams in the on-time, on-budget, and on-strategy delivery of promotional medical education projects and programs, such as slide kits, broadcasts, web & audio conferences, advisory boards, speaker training meetings, videos, etc.Proposal Development: Develop project proposals and budgets for assigned clients. Presents proposals as needed.Financial Management: Manages processes and employs financial controls to achieve financial targets.

Oversees budget development, implementation/monitoring, and final program reconciliation.Account Expertise: Serves as the principal overall account expert for the team. Ensures understanding of and compliance with established standards, policies, and procedures among team members.Client Relationships: Establishes, maintains, and supports strong client and KOL relationships by understanding the client's business and strategy.Strategic Development: Responsible with EVP for developing account strategies and plans.Staff Supervision: Supervises assigned staff and conducts performance planning and appraisals.Travel: Some travel required.This position offers on-the-job professional development with a growing and financially stable company that rewards its employees and provides a supportive, collaborative culture. Become part of an industry standard of excellence.RequirementsBA or BS degree or greater.Management experience with a pharmaceutical company or project/account management experience in a healthcare marketing or pharmaceutical medical communications agency environment.Experience in multiple therapeutic disease categories.Strong leadership and organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize and multitask.Proficient in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, and able to quickly learn database software applications.
