Overview
NFI North Beacon House, a Residential Treatment Program for adolescents aged 13-20 in Buxton, Maine, currently has an opening for a Program Director. This program is high staff intensive and operates a on-site DOE licensed Special Purpose Private School, serving up to eight youth with significant mental health and behavioral challenges. The Program Director oversees all daily operations and helps youth transition back to family or next placement as part of the larger agency leadership team.
Location: Buxton, ME.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all daily operations of the program.
- Manage a staff team of approximately 25 providing treatment and educational services.
- Administrative duties including budget oversight, payroll, scheduling, on-call coverage, and training oversight.
- Facilitate management and staff meetings and contribute as an integral member of the agency leadership team.
Qualifications
- Education: A master’s degree in social work or human services; or a bachelor’s degree with 5-7 years of supervisory experience.
- Experience: Supervisory experience required (as specified above).

Education & Experience (Additional)
- Required: Bachelors or better in Human Services or related field.
- Preferred: Masters or better in Human Services or related field.
- Experience: 4 years in leadership and supervisory roles (preferred).
