The most supportive action you can take for a student who scored 99% is to tell them they fell short. Not because perfection is the goal. Because believing in someone's capacity to improve is among the highest forms of respect. Most institutions shield students from failure. Alpha equips them for success. We understand that confidence doesn't emerge from lowered standards. It's forged when students accomplish what they initially believed impossible. This conviction informs everything we do. Our approach is intentionally distinct. Students advance through academics independently via AI-powered platforms, which allows adults to concentrate on transformational work: coaching character, cultivating resilience, nurturing leadership, and instilling habits that produce exceptional results. We don't require adults to transmit content. We require leaders who understand how to unlock human potential. This position stands at the core of that objective. You'll develop the Guides who interact directly with students, transforming them into outstanding coaches instead of traditional instructors. You'll facilitate life skills workshops that resonate with students for years. You'll analyze performance data to pinpoint where students or Guides need support and guide them toward excellence. You'll also maintain your own student cohort, embodying the standards you uphold for others. The impact multiplies rapidly. Each Guide you develop influences dozens of students. Every enhancement you bring to campus culture reverberates across hundreds of young lives. Success isn't defined by meeting attendance or report generation. It’s defined by whether students grow more confident, disciplined, resilient, and capable because of the environment you cultivated. This position isn't for someone seeking to maintain the existing education system. It's for someone convinced that young people merit more than compliance, seat time, and mediocre expectations. If you're motivated by coaching individuals through demanding challenges, leveraging data for superior decisions, and maintaining rigorous standards because you truly believe in others' capabilities, this role will suit you.
What You Will Be Doing
- Develop and coach Guides to implement Alpha's coaching model with reliability, enthusiasm, and rigorous standards.
- Facilitate compelling life skills workshops addressing communication, concentration, feedback, leadership, and resilience for K-8 students using established playbooks.
- Analyze student and Guide performance metrics to pinpoint coaching needs, eliminate obstacles, and generate quantifiable improvements weekly.
- Facilitate motivation sessions that empower every student to embrace challenging goals and reliably attain them.
- Oversee your own student cohort while exemplifying the coaching quality and accountability you require from all Guides.
What You Won’t Be Doing
- Instructing academic content. Students progress through core academics autonomously via AI-powered learning platforms.
- Developing lesson plans or designing curriculum materials. Your focus is outstanding coaching, not producing instructional content.
- Controlling classrooms through lectures, worksheets, or behavior management systems. Students drive their own learning, and you coach the practices that enable success.
- Reducing standards to sidestep challenging discussions. Rigorous expectations and authentic belief in each student's capabilities are inseparable.
- Defining success by activity volume rather than outcomes. Impact takes precedence over effort alone.
