NextPath Workforce Solutions is currently seeking a Program Director to join our client’s team in Tampa, FL . This is an Onsite, Direct Hire position. SALARY: $80,000 – $95,000 (depending on experience). Unfortunately, at this time our client is unable to sponsor or transfer visas. Requirements

  • Leadership experience within child welfare, behavioral health, human services, social services, foster care, juvenile justice, victim advocacy, or a related field.
  • Genuinely enjoys supervising staff, someone who finds fulfillment in coaching, mentoring, developing future leaders, and building a healthy team culture.
  • Strong problem solver and can build in structure and processes where needed – exceptionally organized and accountable, strong documentation, follow-through, quality assurance, communication, and operational excellence
  • Comfortable working in a small, collaborative organization where responsibilities often extend beyond traditional job descriptions.
  • Passion for serving vulnerable youth and families.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support a team of approximately 4–6 Youth & Family Advocates
  • Conduct regular performance, wellbeing, and professional development check-ins
  • Facilitate weekly team meetings on complex cases and best practices
  • Coach staff through difficult situations and promote confidence and decision-making
  • Monitor team morale and address burnout proactively
  • Provide leadership in complex child welfare and human trafficking cases
  • Make timely, informed decisions balancing safety, compliance, and child interests
  • Ensure program adherence to documentation, reporting, and statutory requirements
  • Oversee compliance activities related to human trafficking reporting
  • Collaborate with leadership to improve operations and service quality
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and creative problem-solving
  • Support staff emotionally during challenging cases and promote resilience
