Finance Principal Specialist For Domestic Patriot Production ProgramsThe Global Patriot Sub Strategic Business Unit within the Land & Air Defense Systems (LADS) Strategic Business Unit of Raytheon is seeking a highly motivated and self-driven Finance professional to assume the role of Finance Principal Specialist for Domestic Patriot Production programs. The Finance Principal Specialist position (P3) will provide a tremendous growth opportunity for an enthusiastic and ambitious individual to work dynamic Department of Defense programs.The selected candidate will work closely with the Production Program Teams and functional support teams on making financial, contractual, execution, and resource decisions. The selected candidate will be responsible for financial excellence across all program finance and business-related activities including cost and schedule execution and reporting, monthly EV execution & reporting, Latest Revised Estimates (LREs), Estimates at Complete (EACs), financial planning and analysis, proposal support, cash management, contract startup, execution, and closeout.The selected candidate must excel at multi-tasking, effective and influential communication, innovative problem solving, and must have a firm understanding of financial principles common to the aerospace and defense industry.This role is being offered in a hybrid capacity (onsite & remote). The preferred candidate will be located within a commutable distance to Tewksbury, MA. Other acceptable locations are: Dulles, VA; McKinney, TX; Tucson, AZ; Largo, FL; or Huntsville, AL.

Relocation assistance is not being provided.What You Will Do:Be a trusted business partner with internal and external stakeholders to drive excellence in financial strategy and execution across a dynamic portfolio of programs and capturesQuarterly Estimates at Complete (EACs) of required programsGuide program startup, program baseline development, project build out and Earned Value implementationCompile, validate and deliver recurring & non-recurring EV deliverablesMonthly forecast development and presentation (FP&A)Support the development of the long range and annual operating plansAnalyze key financial data and metrics that will aid business decision makingDrive alignment of information between proposals, earned value management, estimates at complete, resource and investment management, and financial plans and forecastsDevelop, utilize and disseminate process improvement and tool improvement opportunities to enhance analytical opportunities for the entire finance teamQualifications You Must Have:Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field & a minimum of 5 years related work experience; OR an Advanced degree and a minimum of 3 years related work experienceExperience using SAP APEX software, MS Analysis for Office, PMX, EDIT+ or similar systemsExperience with Estimates At Complete (EAC) and/or Earned Value Management System (EVMS)Experience with Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirementsQualifications We Prefer:Ability to multi-task, problem solve and work on several different program issues concurrentlyAbility to communicate effectively with all levels of management both verbally and in written formAble to meet critical deadlines and develop and apply solutions and process improvementKnowledge of Undefinitized Contract Awards and the process for DefinitizationThe salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
