As a Program Cost Control Analyst – Level 3 located in Azusa, CA or Boulder, CO, you'll be a linchpin in missions of paramount importance, defining the art of the possible from day one. This position is 100% onsite and cannot accommodate telecommute work. This position can sit out of any of the above listed locations.Our Program Cost Control Analyst will help prepare budgets and schedules for contract work and assist with financial analyses such as funding profiles, sales outlooks, cash forecasting and variance analysis.

You will also work to ensure adequate funding availability by maintaining accurate records of expenditures, directing preparation for expenditure projections and submitting timely requests for additional funding to the government. This position will support intercompany programs and the site General Manager.This position will work a 9/80 schedule, with every other Friday off.Your Role and Impact:Responsible for preparing month-end reports (full Earned Value data)Perform Earned Value Metric (EVM) tasks including Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) development, budget baseline, cost risk analysis/ assessment and visibility reports, development and analysis of estimates to complete, and variance analysis research and reportingPerform analysis and prepare reports to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters and government cost control guidelinesDeveloping and reviewing EACsBriefing the customer on monthly Earned Value deliverablesSupport audits and reviews requested by programs, customers, and company management, fact-finding and negotiation supportOther duties as assignedBasic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree with 5 years of business management or program control experience – OR - Master's degree with 3 years of business management or program control experienceWill consider an additional 4+ years of experience in lieu of degree.No clearance required to startEarned Value Management (EVM) experienceExperience with accounting systems and EV systemsExperience with financial analysis or reportingExperience with MS Office SuitePreferred Qualifications:Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or Business AdministrationDefense industry experienceProgram Cost Control experienceSAP and/or Cobra experienceExperience with FAR/DFARExperience with Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)Experience with CognosExperience with the 32 EVM GuidelinesExperience leading a team
