TTUHSC will not pay the $100,000 fee, if applicable.Position DescriptionSupports the program director by performing administrative duties related to planning, directing and coordinating both the academic and operational activities of the program.Major/Essential FunctionsMaintains applicant database (ERAS). Interacts with applicants interested in the department's residency program.Schedules applicant interviews.Verifies the completeness of candidate documentation.Coordinates, plans, and supervises the annual new resident orientation.Organizes and coordinates the typing and printing of the resident manual and various recruitment documents.Handles resident complaints and concerns in conjunction with the Program Director.Prepares various reports concerning information pertaining to residents to be utilized by the institution and also for outside agencies as requested.Serves as an information resource for residents regarding problems with licensure, insurance, DEA numbers, institutional permits, etc.Acts as a liaison between the department and the education office, the Residency Program Director, the department Chair, and the RRC.Handles arrangements for meetings/conferences, including travel, hotel, ground transportation, registration, etc, for residents.Occasional DutiesPerforms other duties as may be requested or assigned by leadership.Required QualificationsHigh school plus six years experience in related field.Additional education may substitute for experience on a year for year basis.Preferred QualificationsBachelor's Degree in related field preferred Experience in clinical, academic, or research environment in any capacity24 months experience in higher educationMaster's degree in healthcare administration or related field preferredExperience working with faculty, academic departments, & sensitive informationRequired AttachmentsResume / CV Optional AttachmentsRecommendation/Referral, TranscriptBenefitsTTUHSC is committed to creating an environment where our team members can do their best work, with programs and benefits to support head-to-toe well-being.
