Program CoordinatorAs a Program Coordinator for State Surplus with OMES you will enjoy:Generous leave including 15 days of vacation, 15 days of sick leave and 11 paid holidays annually.A comprehensive Benefit Package with a generous benefit allowance to offset the cost of insurance premiums for employees and their eligible dependents.Full-time 40-hour work weeksSupport the State Surplus TeamSalary up to $51,975.00 based on education and experienceThis is an on-site position located in Oklahoma City, OKThe Program Coordinator is responsible for assisting in the management of the lifecycle of surplus property, including evaluation, documentation, and redistribution or disposal. This role ensures compliance with all relevant policies and procedures while maximizing the value and utility of surplus assets. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.Key ResponsibilitiesServe as the first point of contact for assisting customers via phone, email, and in person, including coordinating the pickup of purchased property.Perform data entry and invoicing tasks related to surplus property transactions.Photograph and stage items for listing on the online bidding platform.Schedule customer pickups, agency drop-offs, and coordinate pickup logistics.Maintain an accurate and up-to-date inventory of items available for sale.Develop and maintain working knowledge of processes and systems related to the online bidding platform.Stay informed of current state laws, rules, and regulations regarding surplus property management.Provide backup support for other team members as needed.Physical Demands and Work EnvironmentWhile performing the duties of this job, this position works in a warehouse office setting with a computer for a large percentage of the workday.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Occasional lifting up to 30 lbs. Occasional travel may be required.Minimum QualificationsRequirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, three (3) years of experience in an office setting, and one (1) year of experience in customer service.Preference will be given to candidates who possess:Office experience preferably in a warehouse, retail, or logistics environmentProficient in Microsoft Office SuiteAbout OMESThe Office of Management and Enterprise Services provides excellent service, expert guidance and continuous improvement in support of our partners' goals.
