Program CoordinatorOur Program Coordinator will work with the NYREACH team to facilitate and develop workforce development initiatives as needed, create schedules, oversee progress and ensure goals are met on time. He/she is also responsible for coordinating and attending meetings, developing project strategies, operating our WFD program, and providing all administrative assistance as required. Minor responsibilities include supporting leadership with grant applications as needed.Responsibilities:Coordinate project management activities, resources, equipment and informationBreak projects into doable actions and set timeframesAct as interdepartmental liaison to identify and define requirements, scope and objectives for assigned projects.Assist with schedule management and outreach for WFD programs.Adapt to the dynamic needs of project/program management.Analyze risks and opportunitiesMonitor project progress and handle any issues that ariseAct as the point of contact and communicate project status to all participantsUse tools to monitor working hours, plans and expendituresCreate and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reportsEnsure standards and requirements are met through quality assurance testsNetwork with other organizations as related to WFD opportunitiesProvide administrative assistance to your direct supervisorAssist with developing applications for grant opportunitiesDesign, develop, and deliver trainingsQualifications:Proven work experience as a Program Coordinator or similar roleExperience in project management, from conception to deliveryAn ability to prepare and interpret workflows, schedules and step-by-step action plansSolid organizational skills, including multitasking and time-managementStrong client-facing and teamwork skills—incl.
