Program Coordinator – Early Childhood EducationThe Program Coordinator is a dual-role position that combines classroom teaching with instructional leadership and coaching. This role leads a classroom while also supporting and mentoring teachers to strengthen curriculum quality, consistency, and classroom practices. The Coordinator helps ensure a connected, high-quality program aligned with the values of Meaningful Beginnings.Lead Teacher Duties:Plan and implement developmentally appropriate, play-based curriculumSupport learning in literacy, math, science, arts, and social-emotional developmentObserve children and maintain developmental portfoliosMaintain a safe, structured, and engaging classroom environmentManage daily routines, transitions, and classroom organizationCommunicate regularly with families regarding child progressEnsure compliance with Title 22 licensing and documentation requirementsProgram & Coaching Support:Support curriculum planning across classrooms (0–6 years)Conduct classroom walkthroughs and provide feedback to teachersCoach and mentor teachers and assistants through modeling and guidanceSupport onboarding and training of new staffHelp maintain consistency in classroom quality and program practicesAssist with classroom coverage when needed to maintain ratiosSupport staff collaboration and professional development activitiesQualifications:24 ECE units including Infant/Toddler coursework required2–3+ years of teaching experience (Lead Teacher experience preferred)Strong knowledge of child development and classroom managementUnderstanding of Title 22 licensing requirementsAbility to coach and support other educatorsStrong communication and teamwork skillsCPR/First Aid certified or willing to obtainTeacher Permit preferredWhat We Offer:50% employer-paid medical insuranceChildcare tuition discountPaid professional development and trainingUp to $10,000/year ELFA stipend eligibility3 weeks paid vacation (eligible roles)Paid holidays (13+ per year)Sign-on bonus offered at 90-day and 6-month milestonesOpportunities for growth into leadership rolesSubmit your resume or a brief message sharing your experience in early childhood education and interest in the Program Coordinator role.
