Position Summary

The CHLD Program Coordinator supports the mission to reach 1 million children with stroke awareness and health literacy. This position manages Youth Ambassador activities, coordinates national partnerships, and supports program expansionincluding resource fulfillment, community engagement, and digital outreach. This role also serves as the liaison between CHLD and the Sevaro Marketing team to amplify the programs reach through storytelling, ambassador features, and aligned campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

Program Coordination & Youth Ambassador Support

  • Oversee application, onboarding, communication, and enrichment for Youth Ambassadors
  • Match ambassadors to partners based on strengths/interests
  • Organize meetings, track participation, and support stipend/scholarship distribution

Partner Engagement

  • Serve as primary point of contact for national/regional partners (e.g., schools, healthcare orgs, nonprofits)
  • Coordinate book orders, manage order forms, and support resource distribution
  • Maintain database of active partners and outreach cadence

Marketing & Social Media Coordination

Collaborate with the Sevaro Marketing team to:

  • Highlight ambassador stories and achievements
  • Promote application cycles and events
  • Share campaign messaging tied to Stroke Awareness Month, back-to-school outreach, etc.

Maintain internal records of campaign performance and social engagement

Support content creation for flyers, social graphics, and program updates

Event & Community Engagement

  • Represent CHLD at national and regional events (e.g., ANVC, school fairs)
  • Coordinate logistics for participation, including travel, materials, and onsite support
  • Assist in launching the CHLD Community Ambassador pillar for general volunteers

Administrative & Strategic Support

  • Maintain documentation of applications, impact metrics, and program milestones
  • Assist in strategic planning, quarterly updates, and special projects
  • Support internal communications and reporting needs

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelors degree in Public Health, Education, Communications, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in program coordination, youth programs, or community outreach
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and campaign planning
  • Self-starter comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously

Preferred candidate profile

  • Experience working with marketing or communications teams
  • Background in health education, nonprofit, or public engagement
  • Canva or design tool experience a plus

Location & Work Environment

Remote-first; flexible hours with occasional evenings or weekends for youth programming or live events. Role & responsibilities
