You will perform a variety of assessments in support of the programs, services, and training needs and requirements of division personnel.
You will utilize established processes necessary to collect information, organize work, and to identify potential issues or problems dealing with readily observable conditions (e.g., building layout or conditions, or mandatory training).
You will assist in the development of strategies of a broad range of administrative programs and services critical to the success of the Division and the ability to execute facility and equipment projects in support of the Shipyard's mission.
You will assist in developing metrics and tracking trends to identify deficiencies in existing programs.
You will identify, analyze, and recommend solutions to problems in logistic support, administrative procedures, work processes, or regulatory compliance.
You will assist in the development of concepts and deployment of strategies designed to improve the organizational effectiveness of facility maintenance and optimization programs, and management and resources programs.

This is a bargaining unit position.
You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final secret security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
You may be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.
Work is performed in areas where potentially harmful physical and chemical agents are present (e.g. fumes, dust, heat, ionizing and non-ionizing radiation and chemicals). You will be required to participate in medical surveillance programs.
This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector evaluating administrative program operations by leading studies, analyzing metrics and deficiencies, and developing recommendations to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of work operations (e.g. minimize delays, improve processes, short- and long-range planning).
