Job TitleJob DescriptionIncumbent typical work assignments may include the following:Advises and provides expert assistance to the Director, G/FOM&OM and executive leadership on all matters relating to the original appointments and inter-service transfers of officers within the Military Services for both Active and Reserve ComponentsResearches, analyzes, reviews, and coordinates issues relating to officer appointment policy.Formulates recommendations and develops policy statements and analysis in support of legislative proposals relating to original appointments and inter-service transfers.Provides advice to senior leaders on issues related to officer appointments and in the development of solutions to especially complex concerns regarding the original appointment process and the development of significant program improvements.Serves as General/Flag Officer & Officer Managment liaison in support of the DoW's Information Management System.
