Apply Air Force and Air National Guard military operational program expertise and develop, interpret, and implement policies and procedures to provide planning, programming, and budget guidance. Facilitate the identification of alternative ways to achieve the best mix of forces, equipment, and support attainable, within fiscal constraints, for Air National Guard units.
Develops new methods for testing and evaluating the effectiveness of planning, programming, budgeting and execution actions/processes in support of developing, maintaining and managing major ANG enterprise-wide force structure requirements process, missions and operational programs.
Prepares and presents high level briefings of conclusions, many being highly subjective and not readily susceptible to verification until actual implementation/execution/operational situations are encountered.
Represents the organization in a variety of functional area organizations, conferences and meetings.
Actively participates in strategic planning to improve organizational direction and focus using strategic planning tools and techniques.
Maintains a continuous liaison with other Air Staff, other service headquarters counterparts, and DOD offices to integrate Air Force SPBE system support into Air National Guard actions.
