Professional Services Procurement Specialist

Our client, a Top Tier 1 Bank, is looking to hire a Professional Services Procurement Specialist in Dallas, TX.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage RFP, RFI, and RFQ processes, including developing requirements, evaluation criteria, and supplier scoring methodologies.
• Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, and contracts with professional services suppliers.
• Analyze supplier spend, pricing, market trends, and performance data to identify cost savings and optimization opportunities.
• Develop and execute cost reduction and cost avoidance strategies.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop appropriate sourcing strategies and supplier solutions.
• Manage sourcing pipelines, savings tracking, supplier optimization, and contract-related activities.
• Evaluate existing sourcing and procurement processes and recommend opportunities for process improvement and efficiency.
• Prepare and present sourcing strategies, savings opportunities, supplier recommendations, and business cases to leadership.
• Support strategic initiatives related to supplier performance, sourcing governance, and procurement effectiveness.

Required Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in Professional Services Sourcing, Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, or a related field.
• Proven experience with SOW, Contract, Time & Materials (T&M), and/or Managed Services engagements.
• Strong experience managing RFP/RFQ/RFI processes and negotiating with suppliers.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver cost savings and cost avoidance.
• Strong analytical skills, including spend analysis, financial modeling, pricing analysis, and reporting.
• Experience partnering with business stakeholders and influencing purchasing and sourcing decisions.
• Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Financial services industry experience strongly preferred.
