Professional Engineer/Project ManagerLocation: Taylor, MIPosition: Engineering – Community Design / Full-time / HybridWe are looking for a Professional Engineer-Project Manager to join our Community Design Team to improve infrastructure in our Taylor office. The candidate must be a licensed PE with a bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering and have at least ten years of related design and project management experience. The candidate must also be self-motivated, work well with others, and have excellent writing, organizational, and communication skills. A flexible hybrid-remote work schedule is available after 30 days of employment.Typical responsibilities include:Design civil projects that may include water mains, sanitary sewers, storm sewers, roads, bridges, utility/miscellaneous infrastructure improvement designs, etc.Develop and complete applications, permits, engineering reports and specificationsPrepare and review preliminary and final construction cost estimatesPrepare design cost estimatesConduct research and development for projectsMonitor task budget and progressPrepare project status and other reportsCommunicate project details with other design engineersConduct project cost reviewsWork with and direct a team of design professionals to meet project goals, schedule, and budgetPromote salesPrepare and review scope, budget and schedule for project tasksAssist with proposals, marketing, project reports and technical presentationsConduct on-site inspections as neededAttend and/or conduct client and project meetingsAttend various meetings including pre-design, plan review, pre-construction, professional organization, staff, etc.Attend seminars and/or training classesAttend municipal board meetings to report on projectsMaintain excellent client relationsMaintain a safe working environmentEducation:Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering requiredSkills/Experience:Bachelor's Degree in Civil EngineeringProfessional Engineer LicenseTen or more years of design experienceExperience managing projectsWade Trim is committed to maximizing the value of infrastructure investments.
