Base pay range
$100,000.00/yr - $190,000.00/yr
Job Title: Transmission PE
Openings: 1
Duration: Contract to Hire (Will be hired on full time at 6 months 100% guaranteed)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8-5
Pay Rate: Salary range is from 100-190k depending on years. Aiming for a 100k-135k candidate
Start Date: January
Interview: Interview times on the books for next week and the week after, ideally in person if local
Relocation package available for out of state candidates
*Urgent need so open to more junior candidates, even if they just received a PE - the training is there to support this candidate! We just need a PE :)
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- Must have a Professional Engineer (PE) license
- 1-7 years of transmission engineering experience
Job Description
Specific duties of the Transmission PE:
Understanding and application of basic project management tools and techniques including the following: project life cycle, client goals and objectives, contract terms and project risk, work breakdown structures, project scope/schedule/budget, project initiation, project planning, financial management and controls, including earned value, internal/external communication, team management, change management, and project closeout.
Independently coordinates the work of engineers and the balance of the team throughout an entire project life cycle.
May also be responsible for overseeing non-engineering components of projects, including public involvement, environmental permitting, right of way acquisition, construction management, and other services.
Leads the QA/QC process on EPC projects and is committed to delivering world class quality.
Works independently and may direct, mentor, train, and/or supervise Project Engineers and/or junior design staff.
Performs client management, project management and/or technical support activities.
