Professional Development Coordinator RN60 West, a one-of-a-kind organization, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Professional Development Coordinator (RN) to join our team in Rocky Hill, Connecticut. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing quality in-service education programs for staff, ensuring compliance with current regulations, and providing coaching and education to employees. If you are a motivated and compassionate professional looking for a challenging and rewarding role, we encourage you to apply.Responsibilities:Develop and implement quality in-service education programs for staff in accordance with established policies and proceduresEvaluate the quality impact of in-service programs and make necessary changes based on outcomesSpend a majority of time on nursing units to evaluate and correct nursing care as neededEnsure facility compliance with current CDC, OSHA, state, and federal regulationsCoach employees on proper nursing practices and proceduresMake house rounds regularly and consult with RN Supervisor and Charge Nurses on education needsEnsure educational programs are current and in line with government regulations, company policies and procedures, and mission and goalsProvide a supportive climate for learning and facilitate the adult learning processAssist adult learners in identifying their learning needs and effective learning activitiesRespond to clinical emergencies, regulatory agency visits, surveys, and issues outside of normal work hours as neededAssist in on-going training of nursing staff to support clinical services and maintain clinical competency levelsRequirements:Must have at least 2 years of increased responsibility in a supervisory position in a long-term care and/or rehabilitation facility or hospital setting or equivalent nursing education degree programSix (6) months of training experience in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices preferredIV Certification requiredExperience with state survey process, survey tag numbers, and quality measures preferredValid RN licensureWhat We Offer:A base pay of: Based on Experience $110,000-$120,000Affordable Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance401(k) with employer matchOpportunities for continuing education with PDC meetings, excellent benefits, and moreExcellent growth and advancement opportunitiesAnd so much more!If you are passionate about delivering high-quality care and education to others, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
