nMinimum Qualifications
nPossession of a current Louisiana license to practice as a Provisional Licensed Professional Counselor (PLPC) or a Provisional Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (PLMFT) plus one year of licensed counseling experience.

Completes intake and psychosocial evaluations primarily for adults and some aftercare individuals, which includes providing technical and clinical input on diagnosis and treatment in interdisciplinary staff consultation with staff prescribers to establish an individual's treatment plan for each individual in treatment.

Completes correspondence, written reports, and other communications with other agencies regarding an individual's care

May provide crisis evaluation for individuals who are in acute distress as indicated by a family member, coroner, law authorities, etc., which may require complex and specialized crisis intervention, psychosocial evaluation, and specialized clinical treatment.

nCompensation: This position is eligible for premium pay of $1.00/hour for hours worked performing direct patient care.
