Production WorkerThe purpose of being a Production Worker at this level is to learn and train in the basic understanding of all machine specific operations.Production Workers have the basic ability to set up and operate a variety of machines to produce precision parts with immediate supervision by a certified operator (level II or above).Follow established standard work under immediate supervision in efforts to obtain certification within 120 days.Production Workers follow and comply with established standard work practices under immediate supervision.The Production Worker will typically refer problems or deviations to more experienced operators including Lead Technicians, Supervisors or Engineers.Responsibilities:Learn how to set up and operate machinery according to standard work.Learn how to make machine adjustmentsLearn how to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.Understand and follow quality testing techniquesLearn how to inspect products using precision gauges, measuring instruments and equipmentDemonstrate proficiency in manufacturing documentation and labor transactions.Support and follow all rules/guidelines/standards set by EHS, Quality, and CI functions as set by your leader and position.Actively participates in the Continuous Improvement process as well as safety related activitiesWorking extended shifts/overtime as required by the businessSome Holiday hours may be required based on business needWe offer attractive, competitive compensation and benefits including, medical, dental, 401k, short-term disability, AD&D, tuition reimbursement, and more.
