Production Welder - Multiple Shifts

Job Summary

We are seeking experienced Production Welders to join our growing manufacturing team. This is a hands-on production welding position responsible for welding and assembling metal components while meeting established quality, safety, and production standards.

We offer multiple shift options , Monday-Thursday schedules , and plenty of overtime opportunities for employees looking to maximize their hours.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Perform production welding on metal components and assemblies according to specifications.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, work instructions, and welding symbols.
  • Set up and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Perform MIG, TIG, or other welding processes as required.
  • Inspect completed welds for quality, accuracy, and proper appearance.
  • Measure and position components prior to and during welding.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, grinders, and other fabrication equipment.
  • Make adjustments to welding equipment and techniques to maintain quality.
  • Grind, clean, and finish welded components as required.
  • Maintain consistent production rates while meeting quality standards.
  • Follow all safety procedures and properly use required PPE.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Report equipment, material, or quality issues to the Supervisor.
  • Work effectively as part of a production team.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Previous production welding or manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols.
  • Experience with MIG, TIG, or other production welding processes.
  • Ability to safely operate welding equipment and common hand and power tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Reliable attendance and willingness to work overtime.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive physical tasks.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, and work in various positions throughout the shift.
  • Ability to lift and move materials and finished components.
  • Ability to work around welding arcs, sparks, fumes, heat, and moderate-to-loud noise.
  • Must be able to wear required PPE, including welding helmet, gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, and protective clothing.
