Determines and may develop test specifications, methods and procedures from blueprints, drawings and diagrams. Tests and troubleshoots assemblies and/or final systems.
May complete rework on assemblies and/or systems as a result of testing. Prepares technical reports summarizing findings and recommending solutions to technical problems. May assist in the selection and set-up of specialized test equipment.This is a third shift position from 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM Saturday's through Wednesday's. For the first months, 3rd shift new hires may need to train during the 1st shift 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM before moving to the 3rd shift.Primary Duties & Responsibilities:Performs electrical measurements and tests from test procedures and engineering specificationsSets up and checks out test station/equipmentMaintains records on work performed, analyzes data collected and reports results (metrics)Removes, replaces and assembles parts and/or assemblies as requiredPerforms necessary touch up and cleaning of deliverable hardwareAssists Engineering in developing test procedures for new productsMonitors consumables required to support test activitiesMaintains inventory of testing equipment on hand and advises on equipment required to meet production schedules including obsolete, repair or calibration statusJob Qualifications:ISO 9001 experience – preferredKnowledge of ESD proceduresKnowledge of mechanical and electrical conceptsAbility to read and understand written test proceduresStrong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)Must be able to sit and stand for extended periodsMust be able to push, pull, or lift up to 25 lbs.Must be able to use a microscope up to 8 hours a dayMust be able to use hands to move and assemble very small electronic parts and fastening devicesMust be able to speak, read, and write using the English language to perform the essential functions of the jobWhat We Offer:Competitive Salary & Benefits PackageHealth, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance from Day 1Paid Vacation, Sick Time, and Holidays401(k) with Company MatchEmployee Stock Purchase PlanEducational Tuition ReimbursementFun Employee Events throughout the yearApplicants must be either a U.S.
