Job Description
nThe Production Technician I supports manufacturing operations by assisting with machine operation, quality inspections, material handling, and product preparation. This entry-level role is ideal for individuals with strong mechanical aptitude who are eager to learn advanced manufacturing processes, maintain quality standards, and contribute to a safe and efficient production environment.
nResponsibilities

Support daily production activities and machine operation under supervision.

Perform hourly machine checks and identify potential production issues.
n n - n
Conduct quality inspections and identify defects to ensure product compliance.
n n - n
Package, label, wrap, and stage materials for production.
n n - n
Load and unload products and materials safely and efficiently.
n n - n
Assist with machine setup, operation, and basic troubleshooting.
n n - n
Follow production procedures, work instructions, and safety protocols.
n n - n
Handle materials and lift up to 55 lbs. as needed.
n n - n
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
n n - n
Support continuous improvement initiatives and production goals.
n n - n
Perform general production duties including mixing, compounding, assembly, packing, and inspection.

Communicate equipment, safety, and production concerns to leads and supervisors.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
n n - n
Previous manufacturing, production, assembly, or general labor experience preferred.
n n - n
Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to learn production equipment.
n n - n
Basic math skills, including measurements and unit conversions.
n n - n
Basic computer skills.
n n - n
High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
n n - n
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
n n - n
Ability to lift up to 55 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
n n - n
Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Reliable attendance with flexibility to work overtime, weekends, or alternate shifts as needed.

nThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fairfield, CA.
nPay and Benefits
nThe pay range for this position is $23.00 - $24.15/hr.
