Malone Workforce Solutions is hiring a Production Team Leader in Louisville, KY. This is a hands-on, direct hire, leadership opportunity for someone who can motivate a production team, solve problems, and help drive safety, quality, and productivity in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Production Team Leader Highlights:

• Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour, based on experience
• Additional $1.00 per hour 3rd shift differential
• 3rd Shift: Monday-Friday, approximately 9:30 PM-6:30 AM
• Candidates should be flexible to train on 1st and/or 2nd shift during the initial training period
• Full-time opportunity
• Climate-controlled manufacturing environment

Production Team Leader Job Responsibilities:

• Provide daily leadership and work direction to a team of production assemblers
• Work alongside the production team while helping ensure productivity and efficiency goals are met
• Monitor employee performance, attendance, and adherence to workplace expectations
• Support employee training, coaching, and development
• Complete production reporting, work order documentation, and other required administrative tasks
• Identify and resolve production and quality issues and escalate concerns when additional support is needed
• Support Lean manufacturing and 6S initiatives throughout the production area

Production Team Leader Job Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in a related field preferred
• 1-3 years of manufacturing experience required
• Previous manufacturing leadership, Team Lead, or similar experience preferred
• Ability to provide direction while maintaining a positive and productive team environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and technical aptitude
• Ability to understand manufacturing processes and communicate effectively with technical support teams
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
• Lean Manufacturing, 6S, or continuous improvement experience is a plus
