Production Support Engineer
Hybrid (Charlotte, NC)
12 Month Contract
Estimated Pay Rate: $60-70/hr
We're looking for a Production Support Engineer to support critical third-party integrations within a consumer banking environment. This role is focused on production support, incident management, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis, not application development.
What You'll Do
- Investigate and resolve production incidents across applications, APIs, and integrations
- Perform incident triage and identify root causes
- Partner with internal teams and external vendors to drive issues to resolution
- Monitor production environments and manage support tickets/escalations
- Create dashboards, operational documentation, and support processes
- Identify recurring issues and recommend improvements
What We're Looking For
- Experience in Production Support, Application Support, Operations, or Technical Support
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Experience with incident management and ticketing workflows
- Ability to independently investigate complex technical issues
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ownership mindset with excellent follow-through
Nice to Have
- API and integration troubleshooting experience
- Experience with Dynatrace, Splunk, ServiceNow, Jira, Confluence, or Power BI
- Understanding of application architecture and system integrations
- Experience working with third-party vendors and monitoring tools
