The Warehouse Supervisor reports to the Logistic ManagerEssential Functions:Responsible to meet department productivity and quality goals. Complete Human Resources paper work and other administrative tasks as assignedCoordinate department activities and special projects to ensure quality and meet timetables. Coordinate with Logistics Manager for appropriate staffing levelsDirect staff in the development, analysis and performance of job task. Supervise staff in accordance with company policies and procedures. Assist staff to resolve complex or out of policy operation problemsConduct interviews, hire new staff and provide employee orientation. Coach and provide career development advice to staffResponsible for staff scheduling to include work assignments/rotations, employee training, employee vacations, employee breaks, overtime assignments, back-up for absent employees and shift rotations. Schedule and conduct staff meetings to include attending LM meetings and monthly review meetings with the SLMAdditional Responsibilities:Ensure the safety and welfare of the staff, this includes OSHA training, forklift training, MAZ Mat training, etc.Evaluate department processes.
