As a Production Supervisor, you will lead a production team to achieve plant and departmental goals while ensuring safe, compliant, and high-quality operations.Drive Safety & ESH ExcellenceLead by example to create a safe, healthy work environmentIdentify and correct unsafe behaviors and conditionsLead incident investigations and implement lasting solutionsEnsure team completion of all ESH training and standardsDeliver Quality & Customer ValueEnsure adherence to SOPs and quality systems (ISO/TS where applicable)Lead quality issue resolution from containment through corrective actionsDrive Total Quality Management (TQM) problem-solvingMaintain accurate and timely quality documentationExecute Production & Operational ControlMonitor production to meet safety, quality, productivity, cost, and delivery targetsOptimize people, machines, and materials for maximum efficiencyAllocate resources and adjust staffing to meet production schedulesCollaborate cross-functionally with Maintenance, Engineering, Quality, and LogisticsLead Communication & Team AlignmentFacilitate shift meetings, KPI reviews, and daily communicationKeep teams informed and aligned with plant priorities and performance goalsDrive Continuous ImprovementLead Kaizen and Continuous Improvement (CI) initiativesUse structured problem-solving (5-Why, PDCA, Fishbone) to eliminate lossesTranslate company initiatives (ESH, 5S, Quality, CI) into actionable plansDevelop People & Build Strong TeamsCoach, mentor, and develop team membersConduct performance evaluations and constructive feedback sessionsBuild bench strength through cross-training and succession planningPartner with Workforce Development to onboard and grow talentEDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCEAssociate or Bachelor's degree preferred3+ years of leadership experience required (applicable progressive military service a plus)5+ years of progressive manufacturing experience with demonstrated leadership responsibilities or an equivalent combination of work experience totaling 7+ years.Strong people skills with the ability to inspire, respect, and empower team members.Excellent organizational and time management skills.Proven ability to achieve goals and drive performance improvements.Verbal and written communication skills.Mechanical aptitude and some mechanical knowledge, experience preferred.Knowledge of operational systems, compliance requirements, and safety regulations.Ability to handle multiple priorities and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
