Production Supervisor - Weekend Day ShiftThe Production Supervisor is responsible for leading and coordinating daily manufacturing operations, within the MOV Manufacturing plant, to ensure safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost objectives are achieved. This role provides direct leadership to production employees, ensures adherence to company policies and procedures, drives continuous improvement initiatives, and develops a high-performing workforce. Hours: Friday, Saturday, Sunday 5:00am-5:00pm - Monday 8:00am-4:00pm (Temporarily) Training will be done on 1st shiftA Day In The LifeLead and supervise hourly production employees to achieve daily production goalsPlan, organize, and assign work to maximize labor, equipment, and material utilizationMonitor production performance and adjust resources as necessary to meet customer requirementsCoordinate staffing, overtime, and shift coverage to maintain operational efficiencyPromote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirementsPartner with Quality personnel to address defects, nonconformances, and process improvementsDrive employee accountability for quality and workmanshipCoach, train, and develop employees to improve performance and increase skill levelsConduct performance evaluations and provide regular feedbackAddress attendance, performance, and behavioral concerns in accordance with company policiesFoster employee engagement and maintain positive employee relationsOther duties as assignedWhat Will Help You Thrive In This Role?Education: High School Diploma or GED required. Associate's degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field preferred.Experience: 3–5 years of manufacturing experience required. Prior supervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing environment required.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Strong leadership and team-building skills. Ability to coach, motivate, and develop employees.
Effective communication and conflict-resolution skills. Strong organizational and decision-making abilities.Physical Requirements: Continuously works in hot and humid environment for extended periods of time. Must be able to work safely in close proximity to strong electromagnetic fields. Must be able to remain on feet or walking 90% of the time. Frequently lifts materials up to 50 pounds.
