Production Supervisor

Job TitleResponsible for leading production teams in a fast-paced, high-volume, unionized automotive manufacturing environment.Ensure safety, quality, productivity, and delivery targets are met while managing manpower, training employees, and driving continuous improvement initiatives (WCM/SIS/Lean). Coordinate daily production activities, monitor KPIs, resolve production issues, and maintain strong communication with cross-functional teams.Requirements:Automotive manufacturing experience (required)High school diploma or GED (Bachelor's preferred)2+ years of supervisory experience preferredUnion and Lean/WCM experience preferredProficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word)Must be able to work 1st & 2nd shifts, overtime, and weekends as needed.Additional Requirements:Ability to work ANY shift and overtime as requiredExcellent organization, written and oral communication skillsExcellent interpersonal skills and ability to interface with various levels of employees within all areas of the Plant from hourly represented employees to Senior Leadership as requiredAbility to build effective business relationships with plant leadership and customersMust have a good working knowledge of Microsoft OfficeMust have worked in an Automotive environment previouslyPreferred Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in a technical field2 or more years' experience in supervision in a high-volume environmentDemonstrated ability to coach/mentor/develop team membersExperience in continuous improvement systems and lean manufacturingProficiency Using Microsoft tools (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
