Production SupervisorNow Hiring Production Supervisor Pay Rate: $80,000 – $100,000 per year Schedule: Full-Time | Monday – Friday Location: Sumter, SC Employment Type: Direct Hire Relocation: Assistance may be availableAutonomy is partnering with a leading chemical manufacturing company in Sumter, SC to place a Production Supervisor for their production operation. In this role, you will lead a team of production technicians, oversee day-to-day manufacturing operations, and help drive a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement. This is a great opportunity for an experienced production leader in a chemical or industrial manufacturing environment looking to take the next step in their career.What You'll DoSupervise and support a team of production technicians on the plant floorOversee daily manufacturing operations to ensure production targets, quality standards, and timelines are metEnforce all safety policies and procedures — safety is always the top priorityMonitor the nylon/polymer production process and address any issues or deviations in a timely mannerCoordinate with maintenance, quality, and other departments to keep operations running smoothlyTrack production data and report on key metrics to plant leadershipTrain, coach, and develop team members to build a strong, capable crewIdentify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and lower costsEnsure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulationsWhat We're Looking For5+ years of experience in chemical, polymer, or industrial manufacturing (nylon or polymerization experience is a plus, but not required)2+ years in a supervisory or team lead role — you've led people before and know how to get the best out of a teamSolid understanding of manufacturing operations, safety compliance, and production workflowsStrong communicator — comfortable talking to both your team on the floor and leadership in the officeAbility to troubleshoot process issues and make sound decisions under pressureOrganized and detail-oriented with the ability to track production data and meet deadlinesA hands-on, lead-from-the-floor management styleNice to HaveExperience with polymerization, nylon resin, or specialty chemical manufacturingFamiliarity with SAP or similar manufacturing/ERP systemsKnowledge of continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.)Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a technical or engineering field — not required, but a plusInterested?
