Production Supervisor

Production SupervisorThe Production Supervisor is responsible for supervising team members in the production of quality products to meet customer order requirements and ensures compliance with all safety and health, environmental quality, quantity, and housekeeping standards.Job Responsibilities:Assure the availability and efficient assignment of resourcesAssure the correct execution of processes (Safety, Quality, etc)Assure a clear communication of priorities and tasksLead and communicate the correct escalation processResponsible for achievement of the Production planCoordinate activities related to gaps or deviations of production consumablesAchievement of established goals and KPI’sInitiate and Lead corrective actions vs deviations "Problem Solving"Execute improvements on multiskills/training matrix from his/her areaFollow up and execution of our defined systemsProduction report at the end of the shiftManage Shift schedule from Start to end, meetings, priorities, leading support areas according to the area needsJob Requirements:Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experienceExperience: 1 year leadership in a manufacturing environmentKnowledge of Problem Solving, Proven skill on driving problems solving based on at least one methodology such as A3, 8D's, 5Shy's, Shiny, etc.Welding & Bending basic processes (Desirable)Efficiency (Labor Efficiency, OEE metrics knowledge)Basic SAP & Scrap reporting knowledge (preferred)Knowledge of behavioral based Safety practicesBasic Quality System (ISO-IATF) (Experience managing Departments under these requirements)Lean Principles knowledge (Basic knowledge using them or being part of implementation Teams)Waste knowledge (3M Muri-muda-mura)Understanding of principles of 5’sComputer basicsSoftware knowledge (Excel, PPT, Word)Conflict Management Analysis capacityPlanning and organizationSetting discipline by a positive Leadership. Lead by the examplePhysical Demands:Often required to sit and use their hands and fingers, to handle or feel. Frequently required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl and lift up to 50 lbs.

Vision abilities required include close visionWork Environment:Exposed to moving mechanical parts and vehicles 90% of the time.
