Drive Results.PalletOne, Inc. is seeking an experienced Production Department Supervisor to lead safe, efficient, and high-quality operations across multiple departments and shifts. This role is ideal for a hands-on manufacturing leader who enjoys developing teams, improving processes, and driving results in a fast-paced production environment.As a supervisor, you'll play a key role in meeting production goals, controlling costs, and fostering a culture focused on safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.What You'll DoYou will oversee daily production operations while developing employees and ensuring alignment with business goals, safety requirements, and company standards.Key responsibilities include:Lead and manage production operations across multiple departments and shiftsSupervise, coach, motivate, and develop employees for maximum productivity and engagementPlan work activities, set expectations, and ensure production targets are metMonitor and manage department costs, profitability, and inventoryIdentify operational problems and improvement opportunities; research and implement solutionsConduct employee performance evaluations, provide feedback, and support development planningEnsure compliance with all UFP policies, procedures, and applicable lawsLead and participate in continuous improvement (CI) initiatives, including 5S and TPMChampion safety as Priority One, including participation in safety committees, JDAs, JSAs, audits, and LOTO compliancePrepare reports and maintain accurate production and operational recordsCommunicate effectively with team members and other leaders across the organizationWork closely with maintenance to support equipment reliability and preventative maintenanceOperate a forklift when needed to support production flowIf assigned to the Treating Department, follow all hazardous material handling proceduresPerform other duties as assignedWhat We're Looking ForWe're looking for a confident, organized, and people-focused leader with strong manufacturing knowledge and a commitment to safety and continuous improvement.Required Qualifications:Post-high school education3–5 years of manufacturing experience1–3 years of experience leading or supervising employeesAbility to clearly communicate expectations, priorities, and timelinesStrong organizational skills and attention to detailCommitment to workplace safety and regulatory complianceAbility to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic production environmentSuccessfully complete forklift driver certificationPreferred Skills & Experience:Experience managing agendas, meetings, and visual production toolsStrong working knowledge of Inside UFPI systems, Citrix, and professional email communicationFamiliarity with the Precise Plant Quality Program and quality troubleshootingUnderstanding of preventative maintenance, standard work instructions, and equipment processesExperience conducting machine audits and supporting safety improvementsProven ability to train employees, document training, and support skill developmentAbility to provide daily feedback, conduct employee reviews, and identify advancement potentialSelf-awareness and willingness to reflect and continuously improve leadership effectivenessWhy You'll Love Working at PalletOneAt PalletOne, we believe strong leadership drives strong results.
