Production SupervisorThe Production Supervisor coordinates and supervises shift-based manufacturing activities, including staffing, scheduling, and production planning, to ensure safe, efficient operations and the consistent production of high-quality products for patients. This role provides direct leadership to hourly manufacturing employees and ensures adherence to company policies, regulatory requirements, and quality standards.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise, coach, and manage performance of hourly manufacturing employees, including performance evaluations, feedback, and development planningSupport hiring activities, including interviewing and selection of production staffEstablish daily production priorities and coordinate workflow to meet production schedules and business objectivesFoster a positive, respectful, and compliant work environment aligned with company values and expectationsEnsure adherence to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), quality standards, and safety requirementsMonitor production processes, identify issues, and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, and throughputOversee training of new and existing employees, ensuring readiness to perform work independently and in compliance with proceduresCreate, revise, and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and production documentation, including batch recordsPerform and/or review batch records to ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely closureExecute and review inventory and production transactions within ERP or inventory control systemsLead or support investigations, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for non-conforming eventsEnsure production activities meet defined process parameters, specifications, and timelinesReview and approve employee time records and maintain administrative responsibilities for the teamMaintain clear, consistent communication with employees and cross-functional partnersPerform other duties as assignedKnowledge, Skills & AbilitiesStrong knowledge of cGMP regulations and manufacturing practicesDemonstrated leadership, coaching, and performance management skillsStrong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilitiesAbility to manage priorities and make decisions in a fast-paced production environmentExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsHigh attention to detail, particularly with production documentation and quality requirementsProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)Ability to interpret and follow technical documentation, procedures, and batch recordsAbility to collaborate effectively across departments and levels of the organizationCommitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvementCore ValuesThis role is expected to operate within the framework of Tolmar's Core Values:Center on People: We commit to support the well-being of our patients. We strive to deliver our best as we shape the future.Qualification & ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredBachelor's degree in a scientific or related field preferred3+ years of experience in a GMP-regulated manufacturing environment requiredPrior leadership or supervisory experience preferredWorking ConditionsManufacturing environment with required personal protective equipment (PPE)Ability to stand for extended periods of timeShift-based schedule, including potential overtimeCompensation and BenefitsPay: $88,000 to $115,000 depending on experience and production areaShift Differential: Applicable for off shiftsBonus eligibleBenefits summary: compensation programs are focused on equitable, fair pay practices including market-based base pay and a strong benefits package.
