We're currently looking for Production Supervisor for our day shift.Position SummaryThe Production Supervisor is responsible for leading all repack operations to ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality production. This role oversees safety, production scheduling, resource allocation, team leadership, and continuous improvement initiatives to meet customer specifications, optimize yields, and minimize waste.Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities:Routinely monitors, verifies, trains and provides direction to production team, including direct reportsCoordinate staff to ensure the on-time production and output goods will meet customer specifications, correct quantities, and quality standardsMaintains focus on productivity, cost control, efficiencies and production improvementsMeet and/or exceed the CPMH (variance to actual)Meet and/or exceed COP targets (variance to actual)Ensures labor and production lines are being scheduled efficiently, accommodating sudden change or needs based on sales/ volumes (constant monitoring of line speeds based on quality and productivity)Ensures compliance with all safety and food safety policies, practices, and procedures. Including CFIA requirements.Promote department-wide culture of teamwork and transparencyProblem solves, negotiates, and addresses staff challenges or concernsAny other duties as assigned.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:High School Diploma or equivalent is requiredPost Secondary Education in a related field is strongly preferredMinimum 3 years' experience in production related environment; Produce and Food industry experience is considered an assetStrong MS Excel and MS Outlook skills is requiredMust have strong time management skills with emphasis on meeting deadlinesProven ability to build and maintain a positive cohesive team, leading direct reports and repack/ production employeesProven ability to implement change and process improvementsHighly energetic and assertive with strong leadership skillsExcellent, interpersonal skills, and ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner both verbally and written in EnglishExperience with payroll execution and software is an assetKnowledge of Famous preferredBilingual English/Spanish is preferredMust be willing and able to work either days, afternoon, or midnight shift. It will be a steady shift to be determinedPhysical Abilities:Must be able to sit, stand, and/or walk for extended periods of timeMust be able to bend, stretch, twist, or reach with body, arms, and/or legsMust be able to lift material regularly up to 14 kg / 30 lbs; and occasionally up to 23 kg / 50lbsMust be able to climb stairs and stand on feet for an extended period of timeMust be able to work in a temperature-controlled environment of approximately 13 ?C / 55 ?FJob Requirements: The incumbent will be committed to customer service excellence and leading by example.
